Lamborghini Gallardo (Pre LP), oil filter removal tool

This Special Tool is custom made out of 1/4 thick aluminum, it is absolutely necessary for your DIY oil changes on Pre LP Gallardos. The oil filter housing in the Pre LP is located in the Valley of the engine, under the intake manifold, this location makes removing the oil filter housing extremely difficult with regular tools. If a generic oil filter removal tool is used there is a high risk of damaging the plastic oil filter housing, aside from the fact that a generic oil filter removal tool is not designed to work in such a small working space as in the Pre LP Gallardo.

This Special tool has been designed to perform it’s intended job to perfection, the octagonal internal area has been rotated to accommodate the oil filter housing precisely at the end of its travel on the tightened position. The handle is longer and wider than anything else in the market to maximize leverage while being compact enough to fit within the small working area. The handle hollow internal section is fully functional and designed to accommodate your fingers for a precise grip for final tightening of the oil filter housing at the end of your DIY oil change.
